Look what country star landed a role in a new movie
How cool is this!?!? Blake Shelton has been cast as Wyatt Earp in a new western comedy!
The movie is called Ridiculous 6 and will also star Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Nick Nolte and Vanilla Ice. The flick will be released exclusively for Netflix. However, no release date has been announced yet.
Blake Shelton did a great job hosting Saturday Night Live
Just in case you missed it, Blake Shelton hosted and was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this past weekend! Shelton spoofed The Bachelor in the parody Farm Hunk, played Celebrity Family Feud and starred in a hilarious “Wishin’ Boot” music video.

The costly bet Blake Shelton lost to Luke Bryan
It sounds like Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan enjoy making bets with each other when they are nominated for the same award.
“Luke and I, the last couple of award shows, going back to the iHeart Radio Awards and then the CMT Awards, we had a bet on whoever won had to buy the other one dinner,” he said in an interview with Access Hollywood. Shelton went on to add, “Somehow I won the iHeart Radio Award, and so I had to go buy him dinner that night.”
As it turns out, losing a bet to Bryan can be a costly mistake!
“Luke [came] walking in with his wife. That’s great. Then, with his entire band, and crew, his management team, some label people,” Shelton says of the dinner that turned into a family (and then some) affair. “They had to like, find a room to put us all in. It was like a damn $10,000 dinner that I bought him that night. So, it was like, ‘Hey, hope you win next time buddy. I hope you win.’”

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert turn down Million Dollar Gig
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have reportedly turned down a chance to make $1 million dollars for a weekends worth of work in Las Vegas. Apparently, Caesars Palace offered them that money for three shows over one weekend at the Colosseum.
Caesars is trying to cover Celine Dion’s hiatus from her gig there as she cares for her ailing husband. No word yet if the parties intend to resume negotiations to try and work out a deal.
